Vitamin D3 Extra Strength 2500IU, 180 Gel Capsules

Adults 18 and older: take 1 gelcap daily, along with an adequate intake of calcium. This is an extra-strength dose, so check with your health care practitioner first.

Good to know: 600 to 800 IU (15 to 20 mcg) of vitamin D per day is adequate for most people, so talk to a health care practitioner to find out whether you would benefit from additional vitamin D before taking this product. Do not use it if you have hypercalcemia and/or hypercalciuria. Talk to a health care practitioner before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have kidney disorders, or take other vitamin D supplements, multivitamins containing vitamin D, products containing vitamin D analogues, or any prescription medications, including antacids, anticonvulsants, digoxin, cholestyramine, colestipol, mineral oil, steroids, statins and thiazide diuretics. For use beyond 6 months, talk to a health care practitioner. Stop use and talk to a health care practitioner if early symptoms of hypercalcemia occur, including weakness, fatigue, drowsiness, headache, lack of appetite, dry mouth, metallic taste, nausea, vomiting, vertigo, ringing in the ears, lack of coordination and muscle weakness, or if you have any other side effects.
