Adult women can take 1 capsule 3 times per day, or as directed by a health care practitioner. Take it a few hours before or after other medications, and don't take it right before bed.

Good to know: Don't use it if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you take health products that affect blood clotting, such as blood thinners, fish oil, acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or vitamin E. Talk to a health care practitioner before use, especially if you take any medication, including medication for diabetes, high blood pressure or seizures, antidepressants, or hormone medications such as progesterone preparations, oral contraceptives or hormone replacement therapy. Also talk to a health care practitioner first if you have a medical condition, including high blood pressure, a clotting or liver disorder, a bipolar spectrum disorder or any psychological disorder such as frequent anxiety or depression. Talk to a health care practitioner if you develop symptoms of liver trouble, or if symptoms persist or worsen. Hypersensitivity to milk thistle has been reported; if it occurs, stop use. Do not use if the seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.
